Fomax Logistics Records Page Fixes - SOLUTION SUMMARY

PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED:
1. Filtering was not working - date filters were not applied to displayed records
2. Charges column appeared twice in the table
3. No sum of all charges shown next to the clear filter button

SOLUTIONS IMPLEMENTED:

1. FIXED FILTERING FUNCTIONALITY
   - Modified the PHP code to properly apply filters to displayed records
   - When filters are active, the page now uses filtered records instead of all records
   - Pagination now works correctly with filtered results
   - Total records count is calculated based on filtered results when filters are applied

2. REMOVED DUPLICATE CHARGES COLUMN
   - Removed one instance of the "Charges (₦)" column from the table header
   - Removed one instance of the "Charges (₦)" column from the table body
   - Updated the colspan in the "No records found" message from 9 to 8

3. ADDED TOTAL CHARGES DISPLAY
   - Added calculation for total charges from filtered records
   - Added display of total charges next to the "Clear Filters" button
   - Total charges only appear when filters are applied
   - Styled with background color to make it visually distinct

TECHNICAL DETAILS:
- File modified: admin/records.php
- The main issue was that filtered records were retrieved but then ignored
- Fixed pagination to preserve filter parameters when navigating pages
- Ensured proper handling of filtered vs. unfiltered views

TESTING RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. Apply date filters and verify that only matching records are displayed
2. Check that the duplicate Charges column no longer appears
3. Verify that total charges appear when filters are applied
4. Test pagination with filtered results
5. Confirm that clearing filters returns to the unfiltered view
